Mary Howard has spent 30 years starting ventures and now coaches entrepreneurs based on her first hand experience. Her specialty is early stage organizations commercializing concepts. Mary has participated in the launch of 15 organizations in CAD and imaging software, social media, medical devices, and product design.

Mary’s venture coaching draws on her personal experience starting imaging businesses at Eastman Kodak, founding and leading fundraising for a VC backed CAD company in Cambridge, and launching a social media firm in New York. Mary’s government fundraising helped create the first post 9/11 business center in New York City, with city, state and federal funds.

As a coach, Mary is appreciated for her energy, her compassion, guidance, expertise and insights. Entrepreneurs get clearer on their goals, missions and plans to create profitable businesses. Mary’s work provides insights to the strengths of the entrepreneurs in turn re energizing their efforts.

Mary’s work ranges from software startups, to mobile advertising and video content companies, biopharma and medical devices as well as cleantech ventures in solar, and triple bottom line ventures in hydro. Mary’s clients share a commitment to grow their ventures. The entrepreneurs diverse backgrounds include experienced corporate executives from AT&T, Lucent, IBM, engineers and scientists from Rockefeller University, Columbia, Harvard Medical School, NJIT, Baylor, MIT and designers from Parsons and Pratt.

Mary is a graduate of Harvard College and worked at Bain and Co.
